What is Mental Health?

Some refer to mental health as their ’emotional health’ or ‘well  being’ which is true and is just as important as your physical health, everyone has mental health and it’s forever evolving. Mental health affects mood, thoughts, behaviour and relations however other things can contribute towards mental health such as biological factors (genes or  brain chemistry), life experiences (trauma or abuse) and family history of mental health problems.
